Kevin is running for County Council and is dedicated to creating a better future for all residents of Allen County.
Kevin and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of a blended family, which includes Haley, Katie, Sophie, Benjamin, and Hannah. Kevin is a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a graduate of Paul Harding High School. At Indiana Tech, Kevin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Kevin has served over 30 years with the Fort Wayne Police Department. His progressive experience includes everything from patrolman to command, including operations management, community engagement, strategic and tactical planning, crisis management, investigations and data analysis, internal affairs, and training/education. For nine years as the Captain for Vice and Narcotics, Kevin was on the front lines of the drug crisis, seeking justice for drug traffickers and criminals, while also seeking recovery options for those with Substance Use Disorder.
Committed to a balanced approach to Public Safety and Public Health, Kevin has focused on programs and initiatives that create and strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and community stakeholders, challenging traditional assumptions about the role of law enforcement and advocating for systemic solutions to our biggest concerns.
